We are in a night routine at the moment that Daddy does reading and prayers with Kelvin before bed (when Home) and mum does it with the girls, we also have songs and milk. ( I guess Kelvin has grown out of that)

Our girls can be very cute some nights and the other night they wanted me to take there photo together in Brooke's bed for books.

They are so good together sometimes, I wish it was all the time, especially when Bek gets in her biting moods, It may be pay back because Brooke used to do that to her when she was a baby.

We also celebrated David's birthday during the week, I didn't take any photos, but he is now 31.

And with mothers day on the weekend it has been a busy time.

Last Saturday we went to the Melbourne Zoo with David's sister Sariah, her husband Macca and kids Alyssa, Isaac and Amelia.

We wanted to go together before macca went to the US with the two older kids.

Brooke's Birthday

On the 27th of April Brooke turned 4. She was very excited leading up to her birthday telling everybody that she was turning 4!!!

We didn't really have a party this year but had a family dinner which she chose and also made cup cakes to share with her friends at Kinder.

I actually had a bit of a disaster when I was cooking her cake and dinner - I was just about to place the cake pan in the oven after it had been pre heating for about 10 minutes to find that the girls had been playing and put two plastic containers in the oven. I had melted plastic everywhere, It was so toxic, so I had to clean it the best I could and air the house, and trying to not breath any fumes in. I could have killed them!!!! I felt like cancelling brooke's dinner but after a really, really good clean it was ok.

Back at Easter time David went on an overnight camp with Kelvin. They met up with a friend of our's Jeremy and a few youth boys. They had a lots of fun.

Surfers Paradise Queensland

Back in Feb david and I had a little get away for our 8 year anniversary. We went to the Gold Coast in Queensland. We missed the kids but they were well looked after by both sets of grand parents. Brooke missed us the most, we had a few calls where she would just cry into the phone, which makes your heart break, but the other two did really well, especially Bek, who I hadn't been away before.

We went to Dreamworld (amusement park) one day. We went on all the rides even the really scary ones, David wasn't to sure on some of them, But I keep saying we have to go on all of them, at least once.

On Monday, it was a hot day so we met up with Sariah (David's sister) and her kids at Williamstown beach. we had some dinner in a park across the road and then came for a play. The kids had a grerat time, but a bit of a late night. The water was cold.

Trout Farm -17th Jan

On the 17th we took the kids to a trout farm. Kelvin got a fishing rod for his birthday so we thought we would test it out at a trout farm.
We started out at the lake, but after sitting there for about 1 1/2 hours without catch anything the kids were getting a bit restless, so we went over to the smaller ponds where there were heaps of fish. We had soon caught 4 fish. We came home and cooked it up and david created some yummy asian sauces and we shared a yummy meal with my parents.

Last saturday before we went to the Trout Farm, david needed to go to the Temple with some new members in our ward to do Baptisms. because it was on the way to the Trout farm we all went. The kids and I had a explore around the temple and went for a little walk behind the temple.

One of the days we were away we met up two of Kelvin's school friend that were also Holidaying in Phillip Island. We took them to a place called amaznthings with a giant maze outside and lots of fun Illusion games inside. Kelvin said this was his favourite day. Here are a few pics of david free falling down a slide. One of kelv's school friends also did it! Kelvin wasn't too sure, he is pretty cautious when it comes to those sorts of things. Brooke wanted to go on it but she was too little!!

On the 6th of Jan we met up with my brother Warren and his wife Julie and thier family down in Blairgowrie. They were staying there for the week but we just came for a day trip, my brother Ivan was also there with his family. We went with them to a strawberry farm near by. The kids enjoyed it!!! and we all enjoyed the fresh strawberries.

Brooke and Rebekah love to play babies at the moment. One day I came into thier room and Brooke was playing babies with here real life baby - Rebekah. It's great when they play nice together.

Two weeks ago we visited with David's Cousin Lisa and her family. They invited us to go to thier School fete with them and also david's grandma. The kids had a great time!!!

I have just down loaded some photos from my camera, so I thought I would do a bit of a update.

These two were taken in the last school holidays,at the minuature trains. They only run them on the weds of school holidays. We have experienced all kind of weather over the past few years, but luckily this time we got a perfect day.

The kids love it!!!! Now Bek is getting in on the action.

School holidays -Queenscliff

We have just returned home from a short holiday to a small beach town in Victoria called Queescliff (1 1/2 hours south west of melbourne). We tested out our new tent in a caravan park. The tent survived the wind and rain, and so did we. We had a fun time. Here are a few pics.....

Kelvin has really got into Aussie Rules Football this year, he is learning to play on Saturday mornings at clinics called Auskick and really loves it. He has decided to go against his mum and dad and barrack for a different team to us both, he has decided to go for the Hawks!!!

He went earlier in the year with his dad to see his team play against David's team the Bombers. They had a good father/son outing together.

In April we went camping with some friends of ours, Jeremy, Amy and Tyler Dowdy. we were meant to go for a two nights but we cut it short because hte whether wasn't the best. But we still had a bit of fun!!!

Hi All,

Well we have been very slack at keeping up our Blog, but a few people have said they enjoyed our photos so I thought I'd better add some more and update it as it hasn't been updated since March.

Here is a bit of a catch up on the last few months......

In June Rebekah and I had a litlle get away to Singapore to visit my Brother, sister in law and family. I was getting a bit over my daily routine and it was great to get away for a week. David took a few days off to look after Brooke and Kelv and my parents helped out too. David Took Brooke to the Zoo which she really enjoyed and loved spending time with her dad. here are some Pics of us in Singapore and Brooke at the Zoo

Kelvin has been doing Cricket over the summer, he has us outside when ever he can to play back yard cricket with him, he loves to bat, and gets a bit snooty when we get him out and he has to bowl and field.

On boxing day we set off for our summer holiday to Sydney for a week. This is David and Kelvin on the harbour with the harbour bridge in view. We had a great time visiting Sydney city, Manly and Bondi beach and a trip on the ferry.

We also enjoyed catching up with one of david's companions Luke Williams. They served together in Cambodia and has recently moved from Brisbane to live in Sydney with his wife and two girls.

Christmas went off with a bang. A busy day spent with our family. We spent the morning with my parents at our home and then went to david's aunty and Uncle's home for the brown Christmas, it was a beautiful summers day.

we then went on to Marsha's brothers home for dinner. great to see everyone but another busy christmas day!

Dear Family & Friends,

What a busy year 2007 has been, we are looking forward to the holiday season and spending some time with our extended families. Our year started out with an exciting addition, being that of Rebekah Elsie (born 2nd February), she is now an expert commando crawler and following in the footsteps of Brooke in that she gets into everything and anything. We love her and she is a good baby (thank goodness). Brooke has hit the terrible two's with a bang, she knows everything and everything is 'mine'. She likes to sing and is lovely when she wants to be. Kelvin, the big school boy has just finished prep, and will be in grade one next year, he loves maths and is a real numbers man. He likes to watch and play sport and always knows the game results. He enjoys using the computer and visiting the ABC & AFL websites.

We keep busy with our family, work and church life. Its been fun to go to three weddings, see Michael home from his mission in Italy, send off Andrew to his mission in Singapore/Malaysia and visit Perth, Western Australia for a holiday this year.

At this Christmas season we think of you and write to wish you a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Look forward to 2008.
